My arm keeps going numb after I cough, is this dangerous?

I am a teenage girl, I don't have any diseases and I live a moderately active lifestyle. This just started happening. I cough, and my left arm from the elbow down goes numb or tingles. It isn't painful. It lasts a couple of minutes, but doesn't happen every time I cough. Should I be worried, or is this normal?
